We have made this website available to you for your own personal use. We may modify, withdraw or deny access to this website at any time. This website and all the materials contained in it are protected by intellectual property rights, including copyright, and either belong to us or are licensed for us to use. Materials include, but are not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance, graphics and documents on the website, as well as other content such as articles and other text. You may not copy, redistribute, republish or otherwise make the materials on this website available to anyone else without our consent in writing.

Our liability to you

These terms and conditions do not exclude our liability (if any) to you for:

• personal injury or death resulting from our negligence;

We are only liable to you for losses which you suffer as a result of a breach of these terms and conditions by us. We are not responsible to you for any losses which you may incur which were not a foreseeable consequence of us breaching these terms and conditions, for example if you and we could not have contemplated those losses before or when you access this website. Our liability to you shall not in any circumstances include any business losses that you may incur, including but not limited to lost data, lost profits or business interruption.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The formation, existence, construction, performance, validity and all aspects whatsoever of these terms and conditions or of any term of these terms and conditions will be governed by the law of South Africa. The South African courts will have non-exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions or use of the website.

Gift Vouchers / Spray Tan Vouchers

Vouchers are valid for 6 MONTHS from date of purchase. The gift voucher expiration date will be stated on them and can not be used after that date.

Vouchers cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed.

Voucher are not transferable

Vouchers cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash or other denominated vouchers.

If an intended purchase is for a higher amount than the face value of the voucher(s), the difference can be made up with a credit card or cash payment. If it is less, then change can not be given.

Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any special promotions, discount tokens, coupons or cards.

Vouchers cannot be sold to any third parties without our consent. If we do give our consent then such consent may be subject to any conditions which we impose. In any event you may not sell the Vouchers through the Internet without our express written consent, which you must obtain before making any such sale. We reserve the right at all times to refuse to permit any sale of Vouchers by you to a third party.

Our Gift Vouchers will be dispatched to you with the equivalent monetary value of the service you have chosen.

All Gift vouchers are valid across all of our Go Brown Technicians and Go Brown merchandise and Shibumi skin care range

Cancellation and Refund procedure on the purchases of Gift Vouchers

The purchaser of the voucher is entitled to a 14-day ‘cooling off’ period provided the gift voucher is returned unused and with the original receipt within 14 days of purchase, after which a full refund will be made. If you need to return a gift voucher please email admin@gobrown.co.za.

SERVICE APPOINTMENT BOOKING

Please be aware by making an appointment you acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Go Brown Mobile Spray Tanning reserves the right to cancel, delay, shorten or change treatments where reasonably necessary due to the effects of any of the provisions below.

Late Arrivals

We fully understand that sometimes being late is outside of your control.. We will always do our best to accommodate late arrivals. (Within 15 minutes after your appointment) by performing the most complete treatment possible in the time remaining at the full price. Unfortunately, arriving 15 minutes after the scheduled time of your appointment will result in full charges and no other appointment will be booked until paid.
An additional R100 will be charged should your technician wait for more than 10 min. should you still not have arrived or are not ready after 15min your technician will leave or cancel to ensure that she is on time for her next appointment. should this occur you will be liable for full payment.

Cancellations

At least six hours must be given to cancel or change your appointment. If we do not get notice of cancellation or appointment change your deposit will be forfeited or you will be invoiced for 50% of the service amount and the full petrol fee.

Refunds on Services

Our treatments are carried out by a qualified Go Brown Technicians. If you have had a treatment that you are unsatisfied with please bring it to the attention of the therapist and follow the complaints procedure (detailed below) We DO NOT give refunds on any treatments however we will look into your concerns immediately and try to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

Deposits

In some cases you may be requested to pay a 50% deposit to hold your spray tan appointment. It will be applied at the time of your tan and the balance will be due at the end of your tanning appointment.

Be On Time

It is important for your Technician to stay on schedule. You must be showered and ready for your Technician. Your Technician will wait for 10 minutes for late prep or no shows after which your deposit will be forfeited or you will be invoiced 50% of the service fee. You may request for your Technician to wait an additional 15% at an additional charge of R100.00 so that they can discount the next client for running late.

Tanning Issues

You must discuss any issues with your Technician BEFORE she or you leave the appointment. After the Technician or you have left the appointment, it is the responsibility of the client to follow the post tanning instructions.

Mistakes

If you make a mistake with your post tanning protocols, before you or the Technician leaves (that is no fault of the Technician) you will pay an additional amount of R300.00 for the time to rinse (if required) and to reapply your spray tan.

Tan Outcome

Your Technician is not responsible nor can they speculate how spots, lines, etc appear nor how the color depth will change after you or the Technician leave the appointment. Any thing that would show up or potentially change would show up by the end of your session. You must address any concerns before you or the Technician departs.

Fading Speed

The speed at which the tan fades is unique to each person. We do not guarantee your tan will fade evenly as we can not control the products you use or the lifestyle you have. This is not a layer that is on the top of the skin. The fading process happens along with your cycle of skin renewing. This means that the skin cells are dyed deep in the dermis layer, they slough off slowly over 2 weeks to then show a new clean skin palette. To keep your tan fading evenly you don’t want to speed up the natural exfoliation process nor slow it down. Normal showers and daily moisturizing will allow for an even fade. Excessive rubbing will speed it up. You will find that, what works best for you with each spray tan may work differently with others.

Spray Tans booked from 20h00 till 21h00 – R150

Spray Tans booked from 21h00 till 22h00 – R200

Spray Tans booked from 22h00 till 23h00 – R250

Spray Tans Booked after 23h00 – R350

Sunday Spray Tans – R100

Public Holiday Spray Tans – R100

Complaint Procedure

It is our objective to ensure that every client is delighted with the services that they receive at Go Brown Mobile Spray Tanning.

However, we recognise that on occasions things can go wrong. If this does happen we will try to ensure we put things right at the earliest opportunity. This procedure advises how to bring things to our attention if you are not happy about the service that you have received.

We will ensure that all complaints are followed through, documented and when appropriate action is taken to prevent a recurrence.

All complaints must be logged with in 12 hours after receiving your spray tan.

Raise your concern with your Go Brown Technician. They will listen carefully to your concerns and report your complaint to  head office.

Your concerns and complaints need to be documented in writing via email to your Go Brown Technician and to admin@gobrown.co.za

Please provide as much detail as possible, including details of your treatment, date and time of your appointment, your exact complaint and images of the specific issue.

Your complaint will be assessed and we aim to get back to you within 24 hours of receiving your complaint in writing.

Client Questionnaire and Health Conditions

All new clients will be required to answer questions relating to health and skin conditions which your Technician will ask you. Failure to  answer  will result in us refusing to perform your treatments. Please advise us of any health conditions, allergies, or injuries which could affect your service when booking your appointment. It is your responsibility to let us know of any changes in your circumstances before your treatment goes ahead. We also reserve the right to ask you to complete the Client Questionnaire every 6 months so that we can update our records.

Age Restrictions

You must be 16 or over to receive Spray Tan. If you are under 16 you will require parental supervision at your appointment. We reserve the right to refuse performing spray tans on any guest who are under the age of consent.

Special Circumstances

Pregnant woman may spray tan, however due to hormonal changes, during the first trimester the tan may discolour, streak, not develop and not have the desired colour outcome as required. Pregnant woman undertake to tan at their own risk and have no liable action against Go Brown or its Technicians.

We will not perform any treatment if there is any morning sickness, decrease in foetal movement over a 24 hour period, vaginal bleeding or if the client is in bed rest.

Tanning Technician Illness

We may have to cancel your appointments due to Technician illness and emergency. In such an event we will appoint another Technician who can perform the application. In the case that we cannot reschedule your appointment in the same day we will have to cancel your appointment and rebook you for another day. We will notify you as soon as we can if we need to cancel your appointment

Competitions

By entering the any Go Brown competition, all participants agree to be bound by the Competitions terms and conditions as stated at the time of publishing the competition.
