At least 48 hours prior to treatment.

Wax/shave or use depilatory cream  to remove unwanted body hair. This allows the pores time to close. Dotting in pores may appear if not adhered to.

It is highly recommended to have manicures and pedicures done at least 48 -24 hours before your spray tan.

If you enjoy bathing, add Bath Bombs to your bath to help neutralise your skins PH levels.

24 Hours to your treatment.

Exfoliate your entire body with a soft exfoliate, and with the Body Exfoliating Mitt to gently remove away dead skin cells.

Be very, very thorough in places where there is a buildup of dead skin like elbows, knees and ankles.

12 Hours to your treatment.

Have a warm shower or bath, washing with a soft cloth using a soap that does not contain a lot of moisturizers.  Do not apply body oils or moisturizers to your skin, nor make up and deodorant.

For Your Appointment

Arrive at least 10 -15 Minutes early for your appointment so that you can be properly prepared.

Wear loose dark clothing, to and from your spray tanning appointment to avoid excessive skin contact and visual rub off.

Do not wear tight fitting jeans, pants, or shorts, or light synthetic fabrics to your appointment or after your tan.

No tight fitting socks and shoes.

If you are wearing makeup remove it with baby wipes or a cloth and warm water.

Tie your hair up and away from face and neck.

Remove contact lenses, jewellery, clothing and shoes.

Apply lip balm, to avoid any tanning solution going on your lips.

You may be required to use some cream on elbows, knees and shins.

Remain in your underwear, change into your bikini, C-String or into the supplied disposables.

After Your Spray Tan

Remember to take all your items after your tan.

To allow maximum DHA development we recommend that you follow the following guidelines

Pale /Hard to tan skin: 8 – 12 hours

Medium/Dark skin: 6 – 8 hours

Shower with warm water. Once the water runs clear, wash with a pH balanced soap and pat your skin dry. Ensure that your soap is FREE from perfume and harsh chemicals, as these will strip your developed colour faster.

Avoid using skin care products that contain alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) as they will deplete your tan.

Do not wash or shave for 24 hours after your tan, as this will also strip the tan faster.

Moisturise twice daily, with our recommend Go Brown Shibumi Skin Care Range for a longer lasting fabulous tan.

Avoid any activity that would cause sweating; exercises, cleaning or showering as your spray tan is developing during these hours. Any contact with water, sweat or moisture could result in lines or uneven tanning.

You may go to bed with your tan. Please note that the bronzer will come off on your bedding, but does not stain.

Do not rub or scratch your skin during the development as this can also cause streaking, lines and discoloured patches.
